what they do and enjoy receiving consumer questions. They welcome the
public to tour their farm and they even have a store on the farm where
you can purchase their produce!
Beef Quality Assurance practices are common everyday practices for farmers here in North Carolina. Curt and Ashley Honeycutt of Coats, NC share a bit about their farm and how the principles of BQA guide their day to day processes. Rotational grazing and moving their cattle frequently mean that the cattle are comfortable moving from paddock to paddock. This is efficient use of their forage and helps soil health. The cattle are happy and receive the best nutrition possible, resulting in higher quality beef.
